CALGARY MAYOR NAHEED NENSHI, WILL BE THE MOSAIC INSTITUTE’S 2017 ‘PEACE PATRON’

TORONTO, October 20, 2016 – Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi will be honoured as the 2017 ‘Peace Patron’ at The Mosaic Institute’s annual dinner, Monday, May 29 in Toronto. He will be the fourth Mosaic honouree joining Senator Murray Sinclair, the Hon. Louise Arbour and the Hon. Hugh Segal..

As Calgary’s 36th Mayor, Nenshi is serving his second term. He holds a B.Comm. (University of Calgary) and a Master’s in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government (Harvard University), where he studied as a Kennedy Fellow.
“I am privileged to be recognized by The Mosaic Institute as their 2017 Honorary Peace Patron. Joining past honourees Hugh Segal, Louise Arbour and Senator Murray Sinclair is a great honour,” said Mayor Nenshi.
