Toronto, March 7, 2016 – John Stewart has been appointed Colliers International Canada’s Senior Vice President, Capital Markets. He is responsible for the origination and execution of institutional investment property brokerage transactions across Canada, based in Toronto.

His appointment was announced by Scott Addison, President, Brokerage Services, Colliers International Canada.
John Stewart most recently served as Vice President of BMO Capital Markets Real Estate Group where he was involved in over $2 billion of transaction volume representing many large public, institutional and private investors.
He joins Colliers with 10 years’ experience, having completed in excess of $3 billion in investment brokerage transactions in the office, industrial and retail asset classes, and successfully participated in disposition assignments in most major Canadian markets.

John Stewart serves as Director of the Greater Toronto NAIOP Chapter and chairs its 2016 Sponsorship committee. He is a University of Guelph B.Comm graduate with a major in Housing and Real Estate Management. He has also earned a Post Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation from theUniversity of British Columbia. He is a licensed Ontario Real Estate Broker.
