Commercial Real Estate Industry Veteran Scott Chandler Joins Colliers International

Toronto, January 11, 2016 – Scott Chandler, a well-respected Canadian commercial real estate industry executive, has joined Colliers International in Toronto as Senior Vice President, Advisory and Investment Sales.

Scott Chandler’s appointment was announced by Scott Addison, President, Brokerage Services with Colliers International Canada.
With over 25 years’ experience in commercial real estate in Canada, Chandler most recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian operations of Cushman & Wakefield Ltd. after previously leading its national Valuation and Advisory group.
“Scott Chandler will focus on growing Colliers’ advisory capabilities and collaborating with and augmenting our capital markets underwriting and sales teams. His real estate experience also includes his tenure as a Director at Scotia Capital where he led real property advisory and underwriting services, culminating in the team’s sale of Scotia Plaza at King & Bay streets in Toronto for $1.3 billion, the largest single-asset sale in Canadian commercial real estate history.

Chandler is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), where he previously sat on the board of the GTA chapter. He currently sits on the Real Estate and Housing Advisory Board for the University of Guelph.  He graduated with a B.A. (Economics) with a Business Administration Minor from Wilfrid Laurier University (1987) and an M.A. (Economics) from the University of Toronto (1994).
