TORONTO, September 13, 2018 – Canadian Business Magazine and Maclean’s have ranked Toronto-based Volanté Systems #42 on the 30th annual Growth 500 list, the definitive ranking of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies.
Volanté, a point-of-sale software solution designed for enterprise level hospitality and restaurant applications, was founded by three University of Waterloo Computer Science graduates including current CEO Joseph Lee, who has spearheaded the company’s steady expansion. What began as a basement IT project has developed into an innovative and competitive Cloud-based POS company with a world-class reputation and over 80 employees.
The company has seen revenue growth of 400 per cent over the past two years. This surge is attributable to the widespread adoption of its POS platform by major food service management clients, international expansion, and the successful launch of cutting-edge Self Service Kiosk solutions.
