TORONTO – March 30, 2012….. David Goldman, B.A. LL.B, has been appointed General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and a member of the Executive Committee at Skyline International Development Inc. in Toronto.
He has overall responsibility for the company’s legal affairs, working with Skyline’s development and hospitality teams, maintaining Skyline’s corporate books and records plus managing external legal counsel when and where appropriate.
Mr. Goldman joined Skyline in January 2012, after four years as in-house counsel and vice-president with another real estate development company. He was previously in private legal practice for 20 years where he was a partner at several major law firms with his practice covering most areas of real estate law.
He served as the Chair of the Ontario Bar Association Real Property Section Executive and was a member of the Executive for 9 years, played leadership roles in helping raise funds for the Heart & Stroke Foundation, SickKids Hospital, UJA Federation and the United Way and received numerous awards for his involvement.  Mr. Goldman is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School and has a B. A. in Political Science from York University in Toronto.
Mr. Goldman reports to Skyline’s CEO Michael Sneyd.
