Pacesetting donation will refurbish existing hockey rink at Regent Park South
TORONTO, June 26, 2012—Toronto Community Housing and The Daniels Corporation are pleased to recognize a significant donation from the Hockey Canada Foundation and the MLSE Team Up Foundation, which will ensure residents of Regent Park have access to the game of hockey for years to come.
The contribution was announced last night at the Hockey Canada Foundation Celebrity Classic, held at Air Canada Centre in Toronto. Net proceeds from the annual gala and golf tournament will be used to further improve the outdoor hockey rink, located in the south end of Regent Park.
