TORONTO, MARCH 29, 2012 … B.streets condos by Lindvest Properties Ltd. has been nominated in 12 categories for the 2012 BILD Awards. Among them is the pinnacle “Project of the Year – High-Rise.” This distinction is presented to the builder whose project combines the best overall marketing campaign with excellence in community and product design.
Lindvest’s highly successful condominium located at Bloor and Bathurst Streets in Toronto’s Annex neighbourhood is a brilliant example. From day one, the marketing of B.streets has focused on the uniqueness and diversity of the vibrant Bloor-Bathurst area.
“We are gratified by the number of nominations we received for B.streets,” said Michoel Klugmann, Vice-President of Lindvest Properties. “This recognition by our peers is a tribute to the amazing team we have assembled to bring this condominium to life. We all took our cues from this exceptional neighbourhood. It served as the inspiration for the ad campaign by our agency L.A. Inc., which fueled the public relations campaign by The Communications Group Inc.”
The B.streets team also includes: Hariri Pontarini Architects for the exterior, Elaine Cecconi of Cecconi Simone for the interiors and Milborne Real Estate for sales.
The inspiration behind the ad campaign was a grassroots look at the people who make this neighbourhood so distinct and diverse. B.streets enlisted blogTO photo editor Tom Ryaboi to do a photo study of local residents. These now-iconic photos of well-loved residents were transformed into a massive mural on the exterior of the Presentation Centre and were used as a focal point for the print ads.
The nomination for Best High-Rise Building Design is well deserved. B.streets’ unique design creates a dynamic interface with the surrounding buildings and has a playful, relaxed feel to it – like the neighbourhood itself. It’s a building that manages to preserve the integrity of the neighbourhood while at the same time adding architectural sophistication and surprise to its façade.
B.streets is also nominated for several components of its advertising and public relations campaigns, including:

  • Best Newspaper Ad
  • Best Magazine Ad
  • Best Project Logo
  • Best Project Signage
  • Best Website
  • Best Brochure
  • Best High-Rise Sales Office
  • Best Public Relations Campaign

In addition, B.streets is nominated for Best Suite Design – Under 750 sq. ft. (Suite 204) and Best Suite Design – 750 – 1,500 sq. ft. (Suite 809), a testament to the design quality that permeates this condominium.
The B.streets presentation centre and model suite are designed by Cecconi Simone to capture an industrial eclectic ambience in keeping with the sensibilities of the neighbourhood. This contemporary vibe radiates comfort, speaks to the surrounding area, and provides a feeling of belonging – a true sense of home.
