McAfee, Inc. Security Innovation Alliance Partner Program Surpasses Record 100

MARKHAM, ON – April 7, 2010 McAfee, Inc. (NYSE:MFE) today announced that membership in the McAfee(R) Security Innovation Alliance(TM) has reached 103 partners, a significant milestone in the evolution of its technology partnering program. McAfee today also announced that it has added the Single Sign-On (SSO) market category to its Security Innovation Alliance program and has signed many of the top SSO vendors into this category.
SSO partners in the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance program will provide interoperability with McAfee Endpoint Encryption, delivering a more secure and seamless single sign-on experience to applications and other resources, while also enabling the built-in use of smart cards and/or biometric recognition. The joint solution will secure information access at the point of initial system boot, eliminating multiple passwords and thwarting possible pre-boot attacks by tools that are readily available on the Internet. Since January 2010, eight new members have also joined the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance program in the existing market category of Associate Partners, including:

 
In addition, the following three partners now have “McAfee Compatible” solutions and have been promoted to Technology Partner status in the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance program. McAfee has worked with these partners to validate their integrations for their adherence to best practices for integrating with McAfee products.

Finally, McAfee has also welcomed the following five partners to its Sales Teaming Program. Partners in the Sales Teaming Program complement the McAfee product portfolio, and enable the McAfee sales force and channel to drive more complete security solution relationships with enterprise customers.
