Complementary Subscription of McAfee Total Protection Service Offered by HP
MARKHAM, ON – January 4, 2010 – McAfee, Inc. (NYSE:MFE) today announced a worldwide agreement with HP to provide pre-installed McAfee(R) Total Protection Service on HP StorageWorks X500 Data Vault series storage devices. The service, available now through HP as a 90-day trial subscription, helps consumers and small business users remain competitive by protecting their important business data.

Total Protection Service from McAfee leverages the same software as a service (SaaS) technology that McAfee has used to protect consumers and business customers for more than ten years. Total Protection Service provides integrated endpoint, email and Web protection with access to SecurityCenter, an online console managed by McAfee and available over the Internet, providing organizations with more flexibility in management, reporting and design.
