THE COMMUNICATIONS GROUP INC. REBRANDS AS tcgpr – PR CONSULTANTS TO NEWS MAKERS™ WITH A NEW WEB SITE

TORONTO – November 28, 2013…. The Communications Group Inc. has rebranded itself as…. tcgpr – PR Consultants To News Makers™ and launched a new web site www.tcgpr.com, celebrating 40 years as an independent, Canadian-owned public relations consulting firm.
“We’ve been staring at our own brand since the first day of the Internet,” said Founding Partner David Eisenstadt, “so it was easy to make this design switch.
Incorporated in 1973, tcgpr is one of the longest-serving Canadian-owned PR agencies with international representation and connections, as the Toronto Partner of IPREX Global Public Relations (www.iprex.com). There are 76 other IPREX agencies.
Said Managing Partner Rhoda Eisenstadt, “Our new talk bubble logo reinforces our commitment to continue to provide thoughtful, strategic PR counsel to generate quality coverage and results, in today’s ever-changing communications landscape. We are also developing programs that leverage new mobile and web strategies, offering the range of digital and social marketing and modern market research and social analytics capabilities for many of our clients.”
“Our new brand,” added David Eisenstadt, “should help remind prospects and clients that PR is an important tool in the marketing communications kit and incorporating this brand up front is our way of more clearly defining who, and what we are. Over the years, various definitions of the communications industry have meant different things to different people and our incorporated name may have even contributed to the fog.
“Today, coverage in social and traditional media is what it is all about; our job is to help our clients manage their news to generate coverage. We have always worked well with a number of advertising and marketing agencies who understand and include our businesslike approach to PR into many boardroom presentations. Certainly, staying true to our PR roots has been the key to our success for over four decades….and that will definitely continue,” he said.
